M.A.F.R. Mission Statement

The Massachusetts Association of Firearms Retailers is currently being formed to provide licensed firearms dealers in Massachusetts with a unified voice in regulatory and legislative affairs.  The Association goals include: the clarification of current rules and regulations governing the sale of handguns, supplying retailer input into any future rules and regulations which may impact our business practices, promotion of responsible business practices, participation in community activities to promote the shooting sports and professional development training for its members.  The MAFR plans to take an active role to try to change ambiguous rules and regulations and in eliminating those regulations that unfairly or capriciously restrict the purchase of firearms.
