Beretta issues an updated list of
MA compliant models!
The following was copied from the

Approved List
Updated January 2003
On February 15, 2002
the Executive Office of Public Safety in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts approved a
number of Beretta handguns for sale in that state. These handgun models had all previously
been tested and certified by Beretta U.S.A. for sale within the State of Massachusetts.
The Attorney General of Massachusetts, which also has developed regulations relating to
the sale of handguns in that state, was also provided with this list of approved models
and has not disagreed with Beretta's certification that these models may be sold in the
Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Beretta U.S.A. Corp.
ships the approved handgun models for sale to distributors, dealers and retail consumers
who wish to purchase these products for sale in Massachusetts. As of January 2003, the
model handguns in question are:

All Beretta handgun
models authorized for sale in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts will also include a
warning notice required by the Attorney General of Massachusetts. If any Beretta customer
purchases or obtains a Beretta handgun for sale or resale to Massachusetts and that
handgun does not include such a warning, please contact Beretta U.S.A's Customer Service
Department to obtain the required warning.
Future
editions of Beretta models to the Roster of handguns approved for sale in Massachusetts
may be found at http://www.mass.gov/eops.
Handguns other than those listed on the Massachusetts are not authorized for sale to
retail customers in Massachusetts. This restriction includes sales to law enforcement
customers.

over the amount of the annual dues.

| October 2002: The N.S.S.F. makes
a $1500 donation to the M.A.F.R.

| The Commonwealth prepares to
test the new computerized registration system. Two dealers have been selected to start
using the system within 30 days. FA-10 forms will eventually be phased gradually over a
period of time. A meeting will be held at the Firearm Records Bureau in Chelsea, MA on
11/18 at 10:30 AM. More to follow....
